Frequently Asked Questions

What is a vehicle wrap?

A vehicle wrap is a laminated vinyl sheet with graphics and/or text that is applied to the outer surface of the vehicle directly over the paint. Lamination comes in either a gloss or matte finish. The vinyls adhesion characteristics make the wrap conform to the shape and curvature of the vehicle giving it a smooth, unique appearance.

How long does a wrap last?

The average lifespan of a vehicle wrap is 4-5 years if properly maintained and taken care of. Washing your vehicle with soap and water as you would with a painted finish is all that's needed. Vinyl wraps do not need to be waxed. Wrapshotz guarantees its workmanship for up to 5 years by the manufacturers against material defects, fading, or adhesion.

Can just a portion of the vehicle be wrapped?

Yes. These are known as partial wraps. Three types of partial wraps are the three-quarter wrap, half wrap and quarter wrap. A major
benefit of these wraps is the cost savings to you. Yet, this style can be just as effective in advertising and have the same impact as a full wrap, especially when the color of the vehicle is built into the artwork or text of the wrap.

Can sections of the wrap be spliced or changed?

onto the vehicle.
